Design my idea · Design + print

From sketch to CAD to part.

Bring a napkin sketch, a photo, a drawing or just a problem. We turn it into an accurate 3D model, you approve it, and we can print it for you.

Process

How a design job runs

Design and printing are quoted and approved separately, so you never pay for a print of a design you haven't signed off.

  1. Brief

You describe the problem, the function, rough sizes, quantity, deadline and (optionally) a budget range. Photos and sketches help a lot.

  2. Clarify & quote

We ask what we need to know, then quote the design stage: deliverables, included revisions and timing.

  3. Deposit & design

Once you approve and pay the deposit, we model the part in CAD and share renders or a viewable file.

  4. Review & revise

You comment, we revise within the agreed rounds. Nothing is manufactured until you approve the design.

  5. Deliver or print

We deliver the agreed files, and if you want parts, quote and run the print stage.

Deliverables

What you can receive

  • Print-ready files (STL / 3MF) for your own printer or another supplier.
  • Editable CAD (STEP) when you need to change or manufacture the part elsewhere.
  • Renders and dimensioned drawings (PDF) for sign-off or presentations.
  • Printed parts: prototypes, one-offs or a small batch.

Who owns the design files, and how they may be used, is written into your quote before work starts.

Clear rounds, no surprises

Included

Agreed revision rounds

Your quote states how many review rounds are included. Most small parts need one or two.

Change of scope

Quoted before we start

If the brief changes, we pause and quote the extra work. We never add charges without your agreement.

Sign-off

Approve before printing

You approve the final design in writing before any printing quote is issued.

Honesty

Not a certification

We design for function and printability. We don't certify parts for regulated or safety-critical use.

Prototypes & small batches

Iterate fast, then repeat reliably

For inventors, product teams, workshops, architects and educators.

  • Functional prototypes to test fit, strength and assembly
  • Looks-like models and mock-ups for pitches and user testing
  • Fit checks against existing parts or enclosures
  • Limited repeat runs, with capacity and lead time confirmed per order
